How will the pharmacy receive prescriptions?
Wheel will send prescriptions directly to the pharmacy through an electronic prescribing system.
Once a clinician has written a prescription, you will receive a message with a "Get Prescription" call-to-action (CTA) button. Pressing the CTA button, will let you choose a local pharmacy (Pharmacy pickup) or Home Delivery (Mail Order CarrotRx).
What if the pharmacy reports that they have not received a prescription?
If the pharmacy has not received a prescription, please submit a support request below. The Wheel Support team will help triage this to a clinician for review and resolution.
What if the pharmacy doesn't have the medication?
If a pharmacy lets you know they don't have the medication in stock, we recommend checking with surrounding pharmacy locations in your area. If you are able to find a pharmacy with supply, you can have your prescription transferred by asking your new pharmacy to call the original pharmacy to initiate the transfer. If it has been more than 2 weeks since your last dose, we recommend discussing next steps with your provider within the patient portal chat.
